The Jay&Joy story
Jay&Joy is France's leading plant-based alternative to cheese, enabling everyone to enjoy new flavors every day.
Gourmet, healthy and responsible products for everyone, made in France and accessible to all.
Who said it was impossible to combine ethics and indulgence?
Jay & Joy is the realization of a crazy dream of the founders, who became vegan because they couldn't live without cheese..
Drawing on ancestral cheese-making techniques learned from master cheesemakers and affineurs, Jay&Joy has developed a unique know-how and today offers a wide range of plant-based alternatives to cheese.
Pour que manger du fromage continue d’être un véritable plaisir, ils créent les affinés: Joséphine, Jil, Jeanne, Jean-Jacques et la petite dernière Juliette.
That same year, Jay&Joy set up shop in La Croix-Saint Ouen, supported by a number of strong local players: the Compiègne conurbation, the Compiègne region, the town of La Croix-Saint-Ouen and the Hauts-De-France region.
And why Oise? This beautiful département boasts incredible fauna, flora and cultural riches, including the Compiègne Forest and the Château de Compiègne not to mention the friendliness of its inhabitants! This nerve center of Europe also has a link with some of our employees who live there.
In June 2023, César Augier became the start-up's CEO.
With a passion for the environment and product development, and a keen interest in the world of plant-based food, this project was an obvious choice.
Focused on the challenges of tomorrow
The 100% plant-based approach, with no concessions on taste, has a strong positive impact on the environmentanimal welfare and health, and is part of a global context of dietary transition, well beyond the "vegan" or lactose-free segments.
At Jay&Joy, the team has a single mission: To preserve life with quality products, made in France and accessible to all..
And for the years to come?
Particularly attentive to the needs of its growing community, Jay&Joy will continue to invest in the development of new ranges to achieve its various objectives and pursue its plant-based revolution, both in France and internationally.
